- Format: 2-4 pages in ACM Extended Abstracts Format
- Submission: by email in PDF format to email@example.com
- Submission Deadline: December 11, 2015
- Notification: January 7, 2016
- Workshop: February 27, 2016
We invite interested people to submit a 2-4 page position paper in ACM extended abstracts format that addresses the workshop theme. We encourage the submitters to discuss their interest in the theme, welcoming reports of (preliminary) empirical results, theoretically oriented pieces, as well as short manifestos regarding next steps of working on the topic. To promote broader participation, in particular from the industry, we offer the option of submitting alternative material of rough equivalence (e.g., a design portfolio, white paper, or similar).
Submissions will be peer-reviewed with the help of our program committee. They will be accepted based on the relevance and development of their chosen topic, as well as their potential to contribute to the workshop discussions and goals. Up to twenty-five participants will be invited to participate in the workshop based on reviews of the position papers. At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the workshop. Additional authors will be accommodated where possible (depending on the volume of submissions). Prior to the workshop, participants will be requested to read all accepted position papers.
How to Submit
Submissions and questions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before the submission deadline. Please submit your position paper in PDF format by December 11th, 2015.
Submitted abstracts will be archived on the workshop’s website, but will not appear in the CSCW proceedings. Authors will maintain all copyright over their work.
This year at CSCW we will be allowing a small number of people to attend remotely using telepresence technology. The goal is to provide people who cannot attend CSCW in person with an alternative means for conference attendance. For example, we are hoping to provide those with mobility impairments, chronic health issues, or temporary travel limitations with opportunities to attend the conference from remote locations. If you are interested in attending via telepresence, please check out the Telepresence Web Page for more details on the setup and on how to apply to take part in this way. The application deadline is December 18th.
